James Ballot's notes
Day 1
Early morning, day 1:
The three adventurers, Collen, Tinmin and Bisquette, met each other at the Snowflake Cathedral where James Ballot registered them for the mission and requested them to travel together in case rescue parties needed to be sent out.
James gave them some extra information on what blessing they would receive as well as attempting to tell them what he knew about Cirb, the King of sheep and goats. Although he couldn't tell the adventurers any information on Cirb they didn't already know. Except for a prophecy on were to find him.

Prophecy

On a mountain way op high, a circle of stone and rock doth ly, follow the path of sorrows deep, find the King of goat and sheep
— Madame Poulet
With Collen's knowledge of the surroundings as a local, the group had a fairly strong inkling that they had to travel the old mountain path Gloom Road. This path had barely been travelled in recent decades due to dangerous rockslides and rumours of wailing ghosts.   Late morning, day1:
After all that the three of them first went to Brigid's temple (Spring garden temple) across the street. Following James's suggestion, they met with Eline, the high priestess, and asked her about Cirb's appearance. She told them that, although she'd never seen him herself, there are records of his sightings that describe him as being larger than normal sheep with a radiant appearance. More detailed descriptions aren't available but she's certain they'd know him when they see him.
She also told them that although Cirb technically belongs to Brigid, he does his own thing most of the time and only drops by to be shaven once a year.

Mountains and a King

reaching the mountains proper when travelling from Northbark took roughly an entire day. Along the way the group encountered and was attacked by two small creatures.
The creatures were defeated with a few well-placed attacks but they still dealt some painful blows to Collen.   Tinmin, Collen and Bisquette managed to reach a small hut shortly after the sun had completely set. During the evening a hailstorm kept on most of the night. Making it difficult to sleep. As a result, much of the night was spent talking and getting to know each other better.
Day 2:
The following day they climbed the mountain in light snow. The path was small, led past cliffs and had many signs of past rockslides but the three made it across alright.   Late afternoon, day 2:
Collen, having remarkably good eyesight for his age, spotted the snow seemingly moving in the distance among tall standing stones. Upon getting closer it turned out to be a large flock of sheep grazing around in a magic dome, which kept out the cold weather, encircling the entire stone circle.
They quickly spotted a very large, luminescent sheep with deep black horns watching them as they crossed the dome's border. Guessing this was Cirb, and being correct, Collen used the spell 'Speak with animal' to talk to him.
After explaining the situation the group made a deal with Cirb to offer him a flower crown during the spring festival. Knowing the properties of his own wool Cirb advised them to let Bisquette use Collen's sheering equipment for safety reasons. Under the questionable guidance of the other two Bisquitte managed to sheer enough wool to fill four large bags (4,5kg each). They spend the night within the magic dome.

Cirb

Day 3:
When the three adventurers woke up Cirb warned them of potential danger awaiting them and an oncoming hailstorm.   They made their way down the mountain through snowfall. When they reached a section leading past a deep cliff they heard something of to the side loudly telling something to be quiet. With his divine sense, Tinmin determined that there were two evil creatures ahead of them.
Trying to sneak past the things they almost made it but Collen was spotted just before they were safe. A short conversation on sheep and Belenus, both of which the other didn't seem to like much, revealed that the disembodied voice hovering over the chasm was on a stealth mission that had to do with stealing Cirb's wool.
Somehow the three managed to make the voice think they weren't the target it was looking for and it let them move on.   Afternoon, day 3
A short while before they reached the stone hut, the predicted hailstorm started and they were stranded inside the rest of the day.

Finishing the mission

Day 4
On the last day, the group travelled through heavy snowfall with limited vision. Around the same spot, they had been attacked on the way into the mountains they heard something murmuring to themselves. Tinmin's divine sense revealed there to be an evil creature sitting somewhere near the path.
The group tried to sneak around it but failed and the thing immediately went for the attack. The tiny creature tried to attack and frighten Tinmin, failed miserably and was quickly defeated.
Meanwhile, Bisquette had run away in fear and the other two had to go look for her afterwards.   Late afternoon, day 4:
The group arrived at the Snowflake cathedral in the late afternoon. They informed James of the attacks they experienced along the way to which he reacted with "that explains why so few have returned".
They were quickly given their promised quest rewards. James Ballot also thought that three sacks of wool would be enough and allowed the adventurers to keep a sack themselves. He also permitted them to use one of the Snowflake cathedral's spinning wheels crafted by him personally.
