This high flying transport is use almost exclusively by the nobles of the Haelian Kingdom allowing them to travel from place to place quickly and in relative safety.
Oh no. We wont be travelling to the capital like some peasant in a cart. No my dear, instead we will travel with dignity
the FleetThe Windsparrow fleet is currently only around 20 with only the wealthiest of families being able to afford them. The extreme cost of the ship is due to the eve stones which power its flight. While not uncommon the specific variant of eve stone can not often be mined to a large enough size. So an expensive procedure must be used in order to fuse smaller stones into one large enough to keep the ship afloat.
Each of the Windsparrows is also highly unique, with each family decorating and customizing their ships. It often becomes a display of wealth not only to own one, but in how one customizes it. For example many owner have custom metal work placed on their ships in order to give them unique profiles so their are more recognizeable. Those that are more bold may even try to add more Eve stones to their ship in order to support more additions such as armour and weaponry.
to keep aloft the windsparrow uses two large Eve stones along with a number of enchantments the a embedded into the hull.
