Known to bring good fortunes to those that see them these small creatures of fey origin are revered all over Sotin with many small shrines dotted from the cold north the everglades to the south in their honour. However do not be fooled, those that try to capture the Kaiderfey are cursed with ill fortune for the rest of their days.
Anatomy & Morphology
The kaiderfey are roughly the size of a fist and have the appearance somewhat similar to a cat. However there is no mistaking their fey nature as the creature support 3 pairs of limbs and a set of moth like wing. The creatures are notoriously hard to spot not only due to their shy nature but also due to their moss like fur which helps them blend into the foliage around them.
Genetics and Reproduction
No one is sure if the Kaiderfey reproduce as their sighting are so rare. Though according to legend the creature is born when someone achieves something great.
Ecology and Habitats
The Kaiderfey have only ever been sighted in areas rich in plantlife, however they do not seem to mind what kind of plant life is present as the creatures fur changes to mimic its surroundings. However it has been observed that the creature enjoys warmer climates.
Dietary Needs and Habits
The Kaiderfey nourishes itself on ambient magical energy however it has been seen to uses it whiskers to find [Tor Berries] which it seems to particularly enjoy snacking on. Some also speculate that the creature can gay sustenance from sun like much like a plant.
