General Summary

21st of Thorom
Traveling north by ship on the way to Ki'an.

As the days go on, many conversations are had, including Una confessing to Thantos about the drow children. Thantos and Brie talk about their powers and share stories of their pasts and as a way to help bond the team, Marrek hosts a pizza party and raises morale.

6th of Est'iss
After land has been sighted, Una convinces Bardon to join them as a guide on Ki'an and the crew finds a safe spot to disembark.

9th of Est'iss
After a few days of trudging, Julie points out their destination in the distance and in time, find themselves at the entrance to the temple of Vecna. After searching around for hours and finding nothing of interest, they stumble upon a large room with a pedestal holding the second half of the artifact. Una strides up and grabs the item, causing the room to be encircled with a familiar blue flame and the Angel of Death appears. He demands to judge the group and while Marrek volunteers, Una steps forward and submits to the angel's gaze. The Angel of Death places a hand on Una's head, causing visible pain and as the others tense to react, she drops her hammer and falls to her knees but is released before anyone can interfere.

The angel finds Una's cause to be just and allows her to take the artifact but demands its return when they are finished. All agree and then make a hasty exit when the fires dissipate.
