Arc 1 - Episode #138

On The Inside

General Summary

Following the near escape from the trolls the party rides north towards Aldmoor but Calluna soon makes for the treeline to deal with their stomach issues. Marrek and Khoury go in after Calluna and find them leaning on a tree in serious pain. While Marrek tends to Calluna, he asks Khoury to find a plant that may help with the issues which she quickly locates. Marrek makes some tea from the plant as a pack of gnolls emerges and attacks Thantos. By the time Khoury and Marrek join the fight, Thantos has blasted and decimated nearly all of the gnolls and the survivors run for the hills.

After Calluna drinks the tea and feels a little better, everyone mounts up and eventually make it to Aldmoor. At the inn, Marrek inquires about a doctor of sort in the town and they are sent upstairs to deal with Drak, the resident cook at The Lantern.

Everyone is surprised to learn that Drak is another Warforged survivor who is also something of an alchemist. After doing some diagnostics on Calluna's issue, he informs the group that Calluna will likely die in the next few days from Silver Boring worms that they are in the sketchy soup in Brightport. He tells them if they can bring him the frontal lobe from a troll he can make a remedy for Calluna.

Everyone meets back down in the main room to discuss the plan before settling in for the night.
