Bad Moon - Part 1

General Summary

As the members of group 2 exit the portal, it closes with a massive boom. Daegon notices Layla did not come through and after a moment of concern, they start towards Esterholt. They are met soon by Una, Marrek and Calluna who invite them to the festivities once they realize there is no danger to the city.

Back at the mansion, Jadzia and Vallus have their first dance as Braylon sings with the band. Una dances with Briahna and soon after all are disturbed by the crashing sound as Craig attacks Poe for being a coward.

After everyone excuses themselves to the kitchen to sort out their issues, it is discovered that all were planning on going to swamp to see the witch and plan to make the trip as one group.

The next morning, everyone climbs aboard Amarah and takes flight, eventually landing near the swamp where they begin the trek to see the witch. After hours of walking, the noises of the swamp fade to nothing and the witch's hut comes into view. Daegon suggests the others go in first to talk to her about Marrek before everyone enters as a group.

After some talking and tenseness, the witch asks for everyone to come inside to talk to everyone at the same time. Marrek steps outside to tell Daegon and the others who hesitate but eventually move inside.

The witch inspects Briahna who is petrified with fear but eventually breaks contact to deal with Marrek. She offers him two options for a cure, but as she is questioned about why she needs Brie, she asks Una why she lost her faith and after Una recounts her tale and no longer believing the witch tells her "we don't believe in you either."
