Hot Pursuit

General Summary

After the fight with Udoben, the party takes a moment to regroup and collect a few items but then begin to pursue the lone vampire who escaped. Along the way, they find a villager's corpse and carry it back to town. Once there, they deliver the body to the temple and let Alexandra and Father White know about the fight.

Everyone but Acteronis meets back up at the inn for some drinks and to finally explain to Kalden everything that has happened so far. By the time Braylon finishes his epic tale, they begin to hear crashing from upstairs and go to find Acteronis has destroyed his room in a fit of rage. Acteronis explains that he has disgraced his Order and himself by breaking his oath to the vampires. He chooses to finally show everyone what lies beneath his armor, revealing a severely damaged, undead skull beneath his helmet and as the group looks on, alarm bells begin to ring as the villagers cry "vampires!"
