The Docks

General Summary

Marrek, Calluna and Khoury begin their day early by leaving House Dragonkeep and making their way to the Filigreed Fawn to meet Graddik. After a short conversation about explosives, they settle on a deal to hire someone to help them with their journey, with Graddik picking up a finders fee.

The trio head down to the docks and hearing a ruckus, find themselves in close proximity to a fight. As they investigate the loud noises coming from an alley, they meet a small Githzerai girl named Thantos. After assuring her they are not looking for a fight, they all make their way to a bar named Safe Haven to discuss a possible arrangement.

Marrek orders a large bowl of questionable stew, which Calluna partakes to the disgust of and warnings from the others.

Thantos explains that she is looking for another Githzerai and agrees to follow the party on their task if they agree to help her as well. With everyone in agreement, they take one last trip back to Tessia's for some food and to allow Thantos to clean herself up a bit.

Once they are ready, everyone mounts up and begins to ride their horses north towards the Hazaan Mountains with Thantos riding with Calluna. Along the path several house out of Brightport, Calluna begins to feel ill from the stew as 2 trolls charge madly out of the forest. The group urges the horses to speed up and after a narrow escape, leave the trolls behind in the dust.
