Theras

Theras is a fantasy world created for the setting of a d&d 5e world. Unique geographies and events heavily inspired by Robert Jordan's "The Wheel of Time" and Brandon Sanderson's "The Stormlight Archives" will set the players on epic adventures across vast distances.    Theras has a little bit of everything; vast cities rife with political intrigue, clans of brutal orcs seeking to expand their territories, bandits, war, and influences from the astral plane. Big enough to feel like a sandbox, it will make the completionists at your table break a sweat.   Players will start by awakening from being mind controlled by the Illithids of the underdark. The Illithids are running around in a panic, and players soon learn there are a band of high level do-gooder adventurers assaulting the elder brain to free the slaves accumulated by the the Illithids. The players are introduced to the campaign's primary antagonist as they are corralled to the surface world and the blessed daylight, where the creatures of the underdark are unwilling to follow. Here, the players take the reigns of their adventure in this problem-ridden world that's been turned upside down by unknown evils.
