What is Querent-Querent?
The most common faith among geomancers is not the worship of any specific land god, but rather is the 'worship' of Querent Querent, who compile information about all the different theomes in order to fulfill a divine mandate to encourage trade, tourism, and immigration between different theomes. This is considered essential to making sure that every single theome is as paradisic as possible to every single person dwelling within them, which in turn is considered (by the faithful of Querent Querent) as the justification of the geomantic profession itself. Most of the land gods favor querent querent quite highly.
What kind of people join Querent-Querent?
In theory, any kind of person can potentially be affiliated with Querent-Querent, and anyone can claim to be moved by its principles. In practice, nearly all who advance within Querent-Querent (in such a way as to be acknowledged by the formal hierarchy) are either merchants who deal with many theomes or geomancers who seek the use of Querent-Querent's archives, with a majority of advancement and dominance at the higher level being of geomancers. Some minor positions in Querent-Querent are held by localist boosters who joined a local chapter in a kind of patriotism.
What services are offered by Querent-Querent?
The foremost advertised service of Querent-Querent is that they provide libraries of basic Fate knowledge which are accessible to the whole of the public, and which require no advancement within the faith to access. The basic structures of Querent-Querent are libraries, NOT temples. Nearly as famed, Querent-Querent provides organizational support for trade and travel, as these things are considered sacred within them. Many caravans of people and goods are organized by the geomancers or merchants of Querent-Querent. Even more of them were organized by people who consulted the Querent-Querent libraries while planning.
Is there a popular faith of Querent-Querent?
There is no formal prohibition of popular faith among Querent-Querent, but there is very little of it. They do not offer regular worship services as organized religions do. While all public services organized by Querent-Querent are offered in accordance with the will of the land gods who support the meta-faith, they typically resemble secular travel services to uninvolved personages.
