Theo and the Kingdoms of Man

This is a dark fantasy world full of gods and magic. Theo is a continent that was once protected by their magnificent goddess, Theodora. The gods are locked in a conflict that stretches the night sky, and the few gods with a claim of land are not all good and merciful. One god sends an invading army to Theo, while another attempts to slay the goddess. With what little remained of her life, Theodora sacrificed herself to eternally protect her people from malicious gods and she granted her battered and tired people with the blessing of magic.   A few decades have past, and the people of Theo have broken into kingdoms ruled by powerful lords. Warlocks have corrupted life and the landscape, as monsters terrorize villages. People are enslaved due to the sins of their ancestors. Villainous gods look for ways to take over the entire continent, and the person who would have united the Theons disappeared without a successor. Without a goddess to pray to, the threat of divine destruction, conquest, and the fear of falling victim to a warlock's experiment... Where is the heroes the people need?
