The Wind Singers Ruin
Deep in the northern forests, past the living trees and winding rivers there lies a ruin, it might have been a temple or a castle, at this point in time it is hard to know, but it is said that the living winds reside here, dancing, playing and singing.
Geographical location
Knowing exactly where you are at any given time in the northern forests is not an easy task, especially when what you are looking for does not want to be found, but it is believed it lays in a southwestern region.
The ruin is on top of an elevated hill which splits the Ahrillh river in two, this hill also seems to have a lot less vegetation the the forest surrounding it. However trying to follow the river to this ruin will mostly not work as the laughter of the water and the twist of living trees will try their bet to confuse you or rip you of your path.
The Ruin
What still stand of the building is its southern outer wall and some of its statues, these statues depict both humanoid creatures with goat hooves and multiple beasts of a kind we have never seen before, you can also find multiple crumbling pillars and inner walls decorated in simple but nonsensical runes and small holes and gaps.
Even though most of the former temple is destroyed, in the middle of the compound you cant find a circle of stone columns surrounding a massive Black oak. this entire area is thick with wild magic of a sort that is hard to decipher or describe and should be avoided, it seem unnatural and hostile.
However something that was observed from a distance is that you can both hear and see the wind playing in the branches of the ancient oak, and it sound like its both laughing and crying, sometimes singing, it also seems like when night falls the runes on the columns around the tree glow.
The Ancient Black Oak
Not much is known about this one but it seems slightly sentient and not very friendly, the winds are also highly protective of it, instantly sensing us trying to communicate and driving us away when they did. Our expedition of this area will end for now as it seem the entire thing is too dangerous.
The Ruins History
It is believed that this might have been a place of worship or maybe a sanctuary of sorts, maybe the oak is a magic well, we do not know. But it seem like it may have been inhabited by wind masters of an ancient civilization. This will mean they know something we did not, as the wild magic winds is uncontrollable to us and any other civilization we know off .
