Thorocita's are humanoid aliens whose culture revolve around theatre. These humanoids love theatre and will do anything for it. Others rant about what they will do to serve, protect, and help their country and religion. This race acts on it before they speak so that they can boast about their accomplishments and not their possibilities. They are very intelligent and will be able to solve any problem with just some tape and a sander(don’t ask). They are most certainly aware and conscious of their environment while they are singing musical pieces as they do in the movies.
There are a few notes to mention about the Thorocita race. First is that they are a kind, laid-back, relaxed, creative, kind-hearted, eccentric, dramatic, and manipulative non forceful, and loving race, and a brain built for the arts and a gift for Metaphors. they are big on family, they sing a lot(mostly show tunes), they make theater references almost 50 times a day, they don't drink, they make everything into a theatrical-ish event, they are ambidextrous, they love their music LOUD, and they like walking and running. Life isn't just about theater, it's more importantly about Christianity but outside of the christian setting, life tries to be about sensory input like emotion, stories, storytelling, and the experience of life through theater; but still extremely spiritual. This race loves color, flavors, and epic suspense in everything. Oh and they literally recycle everything throughout their sprawling society.
Some important traits that the Thorocita people have is that they see that there is a meaning for everything which is why they are always in some sort of inquisition, and they appreciate the good and bad time and the moments in between. There are times where they would stay up late talking about any subject, one party taking one side, another taking the other side and a third taking the guy in the middle. might i mention that it can get pretty intense, even though all of them would agree on the subject and is just doing it just for the sake of arguing. They love storytelling and they do it a lot because stories are near and dear to their hearts. They even see a theme in everything and love it no matter what. These people in some respects can be considered gypsies. Even to the extent of living in caves where might I mention that there is a lot of art work because people are often going into caves to paint on the walls.
The life of this people is very...outgoing. Instead if just speaking their language, they sing it. They convey emotion and feeling through how loud, soft, and essentially how dynamic their voice(including movements, skin changing color and facial expressions) are to convey a meaning.

Basic Information

Anatomy

they are a humanoid species with velvety soft skin that can glow and change color(20% iridescent) (even their eyes), they have orange blood with 15 different types of white blood cells and hemoglobin that is twice as large as human, their eyes can change color at will and even make it seem to be starlight in their eyes, the ears are shaped like a hook and the whole entire race can only sleep in REM sleep, and they have a internal temp. of 102.32 Fahrenheit or 82.46 Erroctin (Eº).They have one head(can rotate 360 degrees) on top of a typical body with two compound eyes, two arms and two hands that connect to the sides of the body and two legs and feet that connect on the bottom of the center mass six wings connected to their back. They have 6 fingers on each hand and 6 toes on each foot. They have 6 nodes(they look like overpraised black heads) surrounding the front of their head about to where their forehead would be at and the antenna do not interfere with the hair(black, red, blonde, pink, blue, green, gold, amber, copper, multi-color, other metal colors, the color of gemstones, etc.). There are 10 Vibrissae (1/2" long) extending from the outer sides of the cheeks, and there is even a part of the brain that is devoted to processing its information. They have fine motor control and are built to have beauty and muscles. They have 2 sets of vocal cords(6 when fully grown) and extra muscles surrounding them allow them to make a wider range of sounds. They have 7 vocal boxes with eight vocal cords in each and these boxes and are a mix between human and cat and lion vocal cords(which allows them to "purr" and "roar") in conjunction with 8 nostrils. There are 5% more brain mass in the region of the brain where the verbal cells are at which helps with vocabulary and speaking.They also have lungs(1.1 the size of humans) that are able to breathe in water and on land making them amphibious creatures. Their eyes have 22 light color receptors(3 of them being different rod type receptors, many colors that they see are not within the visible light area like we know but also in other major areas in the EM spectrum allowing them to see a "multi-dimensional color"). This race also has regenerating teeth. There are many odd organs that a Thorocita entity has. For instance there is an organ that creates an anti-gravity field so it is easier to fly or even to be picked up by another person. There is an organ that creates electrostatic. The necessary use of this organ is not quite known since this race is very peaceful but it does get used to power electronic batteries and to get misbehaving kids to behave. The last organ that is in the body is a organ that ignites hydrogen and uses it as a propulsion system making it easier and less necessary to flap the wings in air or in water. Also, the bodies are designed to use the extra fat that are lingering around before using the energy that within the stomach. Interestingly enough this race has two stomachs. Hair varies on thickness on each head dependent on environmental conditions. Their skin is velvety soft with a very complicated pattern when the Thorocita don't chose to change their skin color. their skin can change to any color that the mind chooses due to the necessary cells within the skin; which allows the person to become "invisible" if chosen. The skin is also able to bio-luminescence.
When they sleep, a temporary cocoon forms around the body that acts as a second layer of protection that also helps with keeping the body warm at night due to the planets extreme temperatures. This cocoon gets absorbed back into the body when the person wakes up.
