The Zaltir Star System

Beyond the Outerrim, at the edge of known space, and well past even the fringes of the Empire lies an unassuming star system mineral rich and populated by colonies on its main habitable planet as well as in the asteroid belt and outer planetary moons. A hive of scum and villainy and a thriving market for traders of species few if any from the core worlds have ever seen. A system existing in the nebulous region between known and wild space.   The Main world of this system, known as Zaltir IV, Zaltir Prime or to its locals as Kaldria a gleaming world shimmering blue on one side and a sea of gold bordered by white, green and grey. This Pangaea is host to the largest colonies in the system, the only proper cities of any kind, and the only sources of light visible from orbit at night. The natives of Kaldria, the Kaldri were once a species on the verge of the Industrial revolution, but a catastrophic war between them and the advanced alien colonists who arrived on their world sent them hurling back in time to a period of tribal and nomadic life.   If you are brave enough, or desperate enough, there's adventure, danger and opportunity all to be had in equal measure around an unassuming star, called Zaltir.
