The Tome of Prospects

The Tome of Prospects is considered by many the most powerful magical artifact that the Material Plane of The Wraith Globe has ever seen or conceived. This tome has the power to change the flow of time and history as we know it. No one knows truly were it originated, but it is thought to have been a secret weapon of Artukos during The Lords’ Rebellion . He might have been creating an artifact that was able to change the past so that he could reverse his failure and slaughter all of the other lords before they rebelled and united, but no one truly knows for sure. There are also multiple conditions and objects that need to be met and collected to successfully and correctly use the Tome. Vast amounts of refined Bloodstone are needed to use the Tome as a material component, and a specific 9th level spell must be cast every time you use the Tome as well, or the caster will spontaneously burst into flames and be killed nearly immediately. The Tome is rumored to be able to change the past all the way back to the creation of Gearva, but there are limitations to its use:

• The Tome can not be used to instantly kill any being The Tome can be used to affect a being to have never been born The Tome can not be used to raise a mortal being to a status of deity

Currently, The Tome of Prospects is being kept at The Capital of Khazan , and is kept under lock and key. No one, even the Khazanian Government is allowed to use the Tome under any circumstances, or the user will be stripped of their status and burned at the stake.
