The Advisors to the High Mages
Within the Order of Wizardry, The five High Mages have acted as protectors of the ways of magic since its very inception in the third age. However, that is not to say that these five wizened men and women do not occasionally need a second opinion when making difficult decisions. This is where the many Courtiers of Wizardry come in. These numerous advisors to each of the individual High Mages are elected democratically by the people of the Order of Wizardry and help to support the leaders of the Order.

To become a Courtier of Wizardry you must be elected by the people of the order of Wizardry, which requires both good standings in the nation and good history and experience.
Payment & Reimbursement
The pay for Courtiers of Wizardry is generally pretty good due to it being a central governmental position. This is standard within the order of Wizardry.

In terms of standing, holding a position of a Courtier of Wizardry can be a wonderful thing on someone's records. Not only does it show commitment and patriotism towards their country, but it also shows a level of wisdom, knowledge, and prowess that is needed for some of the largest decisions made by the collective Order of Wizardry.
