Magical Creatures

In its widest definition, magical creatures encompasses all species, sapient or not, who are born with magic of some kind. Often, however, it is used to refer specifically to all nonhuman sapient species, as no human is naturally born with magical ability.

Culture

Major language groups and dialects

Unless they have been raised away from other magical creatures, they share a dialect. Depending on their fluency with human speech (and on humans' fluency with their dialect), they may only use it with other magical creatures. If they are not fluent enough with human speech to use it exclusively when with humans, they tend to adopt a lighter form of their dialect, in order for humans to be able to understand them better.

Common Etiquette rules

When referring to humans, they use the more formal "you," unless they have a deep, intimate bond with that humans, in which case they use the less formal "thou."   When referring to other magical creatures, "thou" is always used.
