Kiweda

Kiweda is the Southern-most region of Ager, and it used to be its own country until it was merged with the larger one. It has been seen over by the Ozrav family ever since: where in other areas, the governing noble is called a Count or Countess, in the Southern region they are called Dukes or Dukess', as they used to do before.   The history of the area of Kiweda interests many scholars and learned as the ethnicity and the climate differ significantly from the rest of the continent, resembling more that of the land of Khu'ata on the Southern hemisphere. The culture, from celebrations to architecture, is likewise unlike anything elsewhere in the surrounding areas.   Most of the time, Kiweda is surrounded by a wall that can barely be percieved with bare eyes and which ripples in warm shades. One can pass through it without ill effects, and it is believed to affect mostly the weather of the region: rains cannot pass through this Wall of Buranga, which means the people of the area are highly dependant on the water sources near the border region, rivers that flow through the land, and underground springs. Oasis' are extremely rare, but most of them have been marked on maps to help travelers plan their journeys accordingly.   The capital of Kiweda is the city of Emizaad, which is located away from the coasts. It is a verdant, lively oasis amidst the sands where commerce thrives and streets are lively.
