Court of the Dragon's Fang

The Court of the Dragon's Fang is one of the largest bardic colleges in the New Arkhosian Empire, with nearly thirty members. Their aim is to prevent a second Fall, and they do this by exposing corruption and decadence among the most powerful in the Empire. This commitment to exposing the negative side of the Empire's elite has earned them some hostility from the nobility, but there are those who respect the Court for its honesty and dedication to keeping the Empire true to its values.
Due to its large size, there is a variety of talent within the Court, from minstrels and musicians who play to the Empire's nobility, to wandering storytellers who scour the world for knowledge about their ancestors.

Structure

The Court is a loose affiliation of bards, spread out across all of Arkhosia. As such, there is no well-defined structure or hierarchy in the organization. Some members of the Court will be assigned specific positions within courts or retinues in the Arkhosian Empire, but many choose to wander freely, taking on challenges as it suits them.

Public Agenda

The Court opposes corruption and immorality in all corners of the Empire, particularly within the nobility. To this end, members of the Court will attempt to gain influence within the Empire, and use that influence to investigate wrongdoing within the nobility, particularly where traditional law enforcement turns a blind eye. The Court will often try to expose these "crimes" in an elaborate way, especially if it will embarrass the "criminal" in question.
