Elven Origins (full version)
The First Symphony of Singing Magic
According to elven mythology, the absolute first existence, before anything else, was Singing Magic.
Singing Magic was in balance, with being the only existence, in this wast univers. It had clarity enough, to not feel any grief for being alone, nor did it long for any partnership; It was content. But oddly enough, at the same time, it had this uncontrolling, and whimsical urge to create the perfect composition.
It started with singing two notes at once; the highest and the lowest tone ever sang! Without the existence of Time, the duration of the two notes, would have been the length of both a split of a second and an eternity. From those tones, both Darkness and Brightness emerged. One could not exist without the other. And when the silence fell, Time emerged as well. From then on, Darkness and Brightness equally shared the univers between them. Which where only possible with the presence of Time.
Singing Magic then continued to sing, a myriad of tones in a row, divided only with short breaks of silence amongst them.
The first was a long deep bellow, almost as deep and low, as the one that brought Darkness to existence. The second and third tone to be sang had the near-hight of the tone that brought Brightness in to existence. These notes brought forth the Earth (Unmolded), The Eye of the Sage (sun) and The Eye of the Hunter (sun) respectively. The next 5 tones where in the lower end of the whole range, but close to each-other, which drew forth The Five Moons. The last notes, counting billions, created the Stars in the univers. The Singing Magic fell exhausted after creating all this wonderfulness, and went into a slumber.
Natural Abundance
The tales pass on from generation to generation of the elves, continues, that when Singing Magic woke from its long slumber, it found that the Unmolded Earth had had a large portion of latent magic helt within it. Which had transformed the Unmolded Earth to a molded state, called the Molded Earth. Singing Magic was enthralled, the Earth was the most beautiful creation it had achieved. Though as centuries went by; it saw that the abundance growth of the flora, would end in a disastrous calamity, suffocating the Earth. And by killing the vary host of the flora; The flora itself would die out. The plants where on a path of selfdestruction. Singing Magic had to act.
Emerging of the Animals
By creating the non-sentient creatures, known as herbivores, or plant-eaters; Singing Magic achieved to reduce the overgrowth of the assorted plants without making them extinct. Then it created the non-sentient creatures, known as carnivores, or meat-eaters; and the omnivores, a type of non-sentient creatures capable of eating both plants ane meat, including decomposing meat.
At first this was the perfect solution. However a minor dillema rose. The carnivores and omnivores began to fight over food and territory, though there where enough of both. Singing Magic brooded over a way to solve this, for a long time. At last a idea struck, it had to create some kind of Stewards or Wardens, that could oversee and mediate between the carnivores and omnivores. As a safeguard it also gave the Stewards, the duty of overseeing the plants, and the herbivores.
The Stewards of Nature, the Elven Race
The first pair of Elves, emanated from, when the wind of magic made the tree branches whistle, with the song of life.
The first elder couple that sprung to life where Tarathu (First High Elven Patriarch) and Mariónen (First High Elven Matriarch). They wanted to create the perfect culture. Though they couldn't agree on what material to use or even how the ritual should be done.
Tarathu saw it as an personaly attack on his pride and wisdom, that his wife didn't see reason and just agreed with him. He found that his love for her was deminisen to a point where he almost didn't know if he actually love her at all.
Their Time of Separation
Tarathu decided in his arogance, that he alone could recreate, what the wind of Magic had done. He also belived, that because him and his wife sprung from trees; that the trees was the only naturally material, that had the supreme abilities to create elves. He wandred the world, looking for the perfect tree. On this journey, he embodied a scholastic view, on everything he had encountered on his travel, and wrote it all down.
Even as an immortal being, traveling by foot were painstaking long, and after the first few years, his arogance was deminicing. Only his pride and fear to admit, before his partner, that he had failed, made him push forward year after year.
When he was about to give up, he finally stumbled upon the kilometer long roots, of a majestic solitary tree.
Used months of surveying it, he just walked around it, for days, only eating and drinking when he had to write a discovery down.
His findings, both surprised and befuddled him. He found, that every tree-trunk; every leave; every nut, flower and seed, he had ever encountered before, on his travels. Could be seen on this tree, though everything looked older.
At the time, he saw him self as a sage. A result of the many years, he had existed, up until this profound day.
In his euphoric state of mind, he named it Tree of Seeds
When he concluted his survey, and found it was time to leve, he broke a number of different branches of off the tree. He would use some of them himself, and give the rest to his wife. Which company, he now, longed so much for. In the meantime Mariónen, set to find what she saw as the bedst potetial material to create the elven culture. She would search among the flower plants of the world. Her point of view wasn't as scholaristic as her husband. She feelt a devastating sorrow for the departure of her husband. A emotion that guided her, from the most majastic flowers on the green meddows, to the statly, simple and rural weeds growing anywhere it sort fit, to the sly and trickery parasitic plants.
She would sit with every plant, sometimes in large groups, sometimes alone with only a single plant. She talk and listen to them all, to understand the feelings and need of every single plant. Why they grow? Why they had choosen the color they had? How and why did they effect other plants and animals around them? On every full moon [if there are more then one moon it's on the full moon of the largest moon], she would write a poem or a song, descriping her longing, love and sorrow for her husband.

Loving Reunion
Tarathu finally returned to Mariónen, she first thought she was hilucinating again. Even as he felt on his knees, begging for her forgivness, for his arogance and the wrong doing towards her.
At first he interpenetrated, her coldness as his punishment, and willingly accepted this as their life forward. The lived in this way almost as long as they have been apart. One day Tarathu followed Mariónen to her favorit meadow, where she would commune with the flowers. He found a spot oppesit her, close enough to hear her, without disturbing the process. As she began meditating, he didn't now what to expect, and actually didn't care that much, he just wanted to be by her side. At first nothing haspende, and he truly feared that she had gone mad from their time apart. Then suddenly he heard a deep calming women voice, he looked around and couldn't find anyone whom it could belong to. The voice didn't talk to him but was directed to his wife:
"Why are you still filled with grief and heartbreak, my highness?"
The voice was filled with understanding and a motherly compassion. And though the words were humble, as a subject talking to a royal, the voice was clearly one of authority and wisdom.
"My dearest Consort Teasel, I have told you not to be so formel with me"
The Elven Matriarch sighed, her voice was soft gentle and almost a whisper. His eyes was still searching for the person, who owned the voice, when he made the simplest of realisations. His wife call the voice for Consort Teasel, it was one of the flowers. His eyes raced between the flowers around the front of his wife. And there, by her right food, a single teasel stood before her. Both the green color of the teasel's stem and the purple of the circlet, atop of the head had faded. And though the stem was wrinkled and contorted it's aura still imbued respect.
"My highness, I think highly of you and when we are alone I will surly respect your wishes, but..."
The Consort's voice wasn't apologetic, but firm and decisive. When she paused her sentence, he was sure it nodded towards him before she continued in the same manner:
"...we are not alone today, as we usual are"
A look of shock turning to wonder, then a joyful, though skeptic realisation, as she spoke so hastily that she almost fumbled her words.
"who...? Who do you se with us?"
Her voice was a near whisper, but her eyes shone with hope and love.
"Your husband of cause!!??"
The old teasel forgot her formal etiquette for a second, then corrected herself:
"I mean your, ... our king, of cause!"
Both the king and queen, didn't hear the last, of Consort Teasel's words. They were running into each others embracing arms. Had they look before their feet, they would have seen the most colorist arrangement of flowers from all over the world enfold beneath their feet.
The Feast
The Elven King and Elven Queen, hosted a magnificent feast for every one to attend. In their eyes there wasn't any other noble races at the time. But all the plants and animals in the elven kingdom were invited.
To commemorate their reunion, the Elven King gave his Queen the gift of numeral branches, from "The Tree of Seeds". All were of different sizes, shapes and colors.
Mariónen also gave her husban a gift. Some says that the poem "Joy, Before And After", that she gave him was, in a sly way, her mean of showing, her love for him, while keeping him humble, without be seeing as trying to shame him his past actions.
Though the feast lasted for months, the 10 logs of branches, Tarathu had used from his collection, to form the huge bonfire; where never completely burn to ashes. When he poured water on the logs, at the end of the feast, to quell the flames and cleared the ashes. He found a petrified wooden core from each branch. There and then he decided to use those logs, for the first addition to the elven culture.
Birth of the Trolls
See the Troll Origins (full version) for more information.
As it seemed that Mariónen's mental health was declining, Tarathu felt the need to protect her. He needed a guard to protect her, he needed soldiers. According to the myth, the Patriarch used more then 1000 years of his life, to prepare for the creation of the Trolls. When they rosed he used additional 4 years, learning them not to be mere beasts. Including helping them build a self govern city, and society. At the end of the fourth year, Tarathu, assigned the Ancient Troll Escort, in charge of protecting Mariónen.

In collaboration with Consort Teasel; Mariónen chose a group individuals amongst the flowers to be sacrificed, for the purpose of being a part of the Elven Race. This was ment to be resulting in the birth of the Art Elves, but it didn't.
Sigurth, a member of the Ancient Troll Escort, was maybe the only true friend, that Mariónen had. And as their friendship grow closer, so did Sigurth's curiosity toward the elven magic grow stronger. Mariónen wanted to teach Sigurth how to sing the notes to wield the magic. After a long, strenuous, and mentally taxing, period of time, they both realized that the Trolls didn't have the capabilities to sing magic. Both where sadden by this. But Sigurth's stubbornness and enormous willpower made her try new and somewhat unconventional techniques to wield magic. One day she proudly told Mariónen that she had succeeded. When asked to show her friend how she did it; she took her custom made carving knife in her hand. And with a controlled motion she pierced her skin deep, where the scape of a fresh wound had begun to form. Creating a magic symbol, that the Elven Queen hadn't seen before. When the symbol was done, thru shear willpower, ignoring the pain, a beautiful silver locker emerge in the Troll's free hand, which she gave her friend, the Elven Queen.

Each of the chapters have one or more paragraph, references to were they where found on The Tree of Seeds. Including how this specific sort, lived in symbioses with The Tree of Seeds.
- The Book "Meditation - The Journey From My Partner To My Soulmate"), descripes the toughts and emotions, he experience on his lonesome journy. Focusing on his view and feelings for his partner; and on his epiphany, that changed him, viewing her as just a partner, forced on him, to being his soulmate who completes him.

Every odd number of verses, shows the point of view, as before the seperation; and every even number of verses, shows the point of view, as after the seperation.
- The legens tells that Mariónen, wrote a great number of drafts, before she conclude the original poem, with a zealous gratification, that only could be achieved with a strong skepticism, scrytinasing her own emotional sacrifice. The original piece of poem, included more the onethousant verses, for each point of view.
- Unfortunaly the original poem was lost in history. Many of her drafts did survived though, and are keept around the elven kingdom. Most of the drafts are kept and restored in high elven temples. Though some drafts where given in heritage from each of the elven sub-races' prince and princessess whoem sequested the throne to the saplings of their bloodline.
- There are many stories, opinions and theories, to why the original poem was lost in time. Some belives that it was give to Tarathu, for only him to read, which he thereafter burned, and using it's ashes in the soil to cultivate the plants and trees used for the first elven city.
Others belives that the individual poems, that is belived to be mer drafts, are actuel parts of the original poem, given to each of the races' royal bloodline, both as gifts and philosofical guideline to live by. This theory has create a lot of contriversy and disput, not just between the six sub-races, but even within each of the sub-races itself. From time to time creating some more or less disruptive conflicts. Scholars who wish to lay this theory to rest for once and for all, belive that one or more verses are writen, as a echact copy, on more then one poem-part, and as such can't be a part of the original poet, proving that they are mere drafts. They haven't been given the opotunity, to eximind every single poem-part, as of yet the royal bloodline still rejects any sugestions of such an eximination, persistiantly states that the poem-parts are specific parts of the original poem. - Yet there are some hidden few, that belives that the original poem never existed. And that the poem-parts, that the royal bloodline claim to have been given by Mariónen, wasn't even writen by her.

- Short-Sword.
- The Hilt:
- The hilt is composed by a gem pommel; a wooden and leather-bound grip, surrounding the steel core; and a steel cross-guard.
- The Pommel:
- The gem used for the pommel, looks like an ordinary, clear, crystal gem, and before it was chosen as the sword's pommel, it was just an ordinary gem. It is shaped like a fine polished orb, fitting the palm of a hand.
- The crystal, was the first of many gems, to be found when the Art Elves build their forges.
- Lolåk used a process, where he first rounded the edges little by little. In between the rounding, he would heat it up, to the point just before it would explode; a wary difficult and dangerous process. When he took the crystal out, of the heat, he would plunge it into ice water, forcing a rapid, nearly instant cooling. Though not as difficult as the heating process, it was at least as dangerous. After the cooling, when the crystal was dry, he would round the edges again; then repeat the heating and cooling process.
- It is said that, when the crystal was found, it was so large that it needed to be held with both hands.
- Besides the artistic look; and the practicality of preventing the sword, from sliding out of the wielder's hand. The crystal pommel had yet another purpose. It was used to infuse the sword with song-magic.
- The Grip:
- The Steel Core:
- The Blade section describes the steel core in detail.
- The Leather Bound, Wooden Cylinder:
- The wooden part of the grip, was made by dark red Logwood, by some called Bloodwood, was primarily chosen for its hardness. Though it is said that Brahan's chose it for its color; saying it reminded him of his wife's beautiful lips. The wood was mad to a cylinder stick, hollowed to fit tightly around the steel core.
- Then one "Clear Leather" strip, was firmly wrapped around the wooden cylinder. The top end of the strip, was attached with a small iron pin. Pushed tight together, the rest of the strip was then laced downward, until it covered the wooden cylinder completely. The bottom end of the strip, was then attached to the wooden cylinder, by pressing the leather end, down over the tip of the coarse steel core, and in this way keeping the wooden cylinder fixed. The final step in the creation of the sword, was plugging the crystal pommel, over the end of the steel core, preventing both the wooden cylinder and the leather strip to come loose.
- The Cross-Guard:
- The cross-guard was made of the same type of steel as the steel core, though it was an individual part of the sword. After being molted to fit the core, the cross-guars was coated in a thick golden nectar, than dried, and polished thin. Lolåk repeated this process, numerous of times, until it looked like that the steel was encased in glass made of the purest gold.
