Tamarea

Tamarea is one of the four primal goddesses. She is the goddess of druidic magic, nature, life, and creation. Tamarea is amongst the most free spirited of gods. She's said to wander the lands mingle among her creations. She is possibly the strongest of all the gods, but the least controllable. She loves life, animals, plants, and all her creations, but lacks the seriousness of her sisters.

Depiction

Appearance

As a nature goddess, Tamarea takes many forms. Her most common depiction is a young girl with fox ears and a fox tail. However, she can also be depicted as having varying degrees of foxlike traits or as taking the form of an animal, usually a fox. Depending on the capacity she is being worshipped in, her depiction will also vary in age. Her themes of freedom, love, and creativity are associated with a childlike depiction, whereas nature, creation, and the protectiveness of her creations is associated with an older or more mature form.

Iconography

Tamarea is represented as animals of all kinds, but she's most closely associated with fox imagery, representing her free spirited nature and natural curiosity of life. Her most used symbol is a fox lying around a plant or small tree.

Origins

Tamerea was one of the four primal goddesses spawned of the endless void and the First Progenitor God, along with her siblings Aravene, Lacrima, and the God of Eldritch.

Divine Epithets

Tamarea Promethea

Promethea is Tamarea's epithet of creation. This epithet depicts Tamarea closer to a young adult than a child. This epithet emphasizes creativity, creation and life. Tamarea earned this epithet for creating all of the life in the world. Tamarea Promethea is a caring, compassionate figure that cares deeply for the sanctity of life and beauty of creation. Tamarea Promethea is sometimes depicted as a sculptor of life, but other depictions will show her creating life by simply dreaming it into existence.

Tamarea Alopex

Tamarea's Alopex epithet is always depicted as childlike with large degrees of foxlike features. This Tamarea is lively, curious, and has little self-control. Tamarea Alopex show's the vitality and innocence of life, seeking nothing more than good times and interesting companions to share them with. Tamarea Alopex is the most connected to nature, not as its creator, but as a beacon of life rejoicing in the life surrounding her.

Tamarea Panmenis

Tamarea Panmenis is a rarely used epithet, but a feared one. Tamarea Panmenis is the only epithet depicted as a fully grown adult. Tamarea Panmenis only appears in stories where someone has gone out to actively and gravely harm nature and earned Tamarea's wrath. Tamarea Panmenis is the show of her full power and wrath against those that spite her creations. It is an epithet of anger and destruction. It is so far removed from her normal characterization that some depictions will separate Tamarea Panmenis into a different god entirely.
