The Separation

The Separation was caused by the Goddess of Stone and Sea Medusa. She separated the original continent into two continents and islands due to the influence and power that the Silver Spoon organization had. They were on the brink of controlling the whole world every aspect of it. They had bought out Kings and Queens they had their fingers in all industries and their goal was to make sure that their spoons remain silver and their pockets always deep. This organization was pure greed and the goddess had to do something drastic. She's summoned all of her power and an instant switch the continent into two separate Continents and many different islands. Her hopes were to spread out the Silver Spoons in order to dismantle the organization and stop it's control of the world. The effects after the separation were devastating once prosperous kingdoms we are now on the brink of death in starvation many have died and the Silver Spoons still continue their greedy ways.
Terrible storms and extreme weather climate changes happened after the continent was split this caused medusa a great sense of depression and sadness as she did not intend for so many to suffer. She has thus gone into hiding or rather a slumber in repentance of her deed. Life has never been the same sense but they have been some improvements though. Kingdoms that were being crushed or conquered now have been separated from their aggressor. Races or species have been able to grow and prosper and change and evolve over time, the Betafolk are a prime example. They own their existence to Medusa.
It has been some quite time since the separation and things have evened out and the call for medusa's return has begun. Without her the seas have become a place for Pirates and the Goliaths are At a loss on what to do they seek her guidance once again and are praying for her.
