The Bowl of the Healer
In 1000 BtB (Before the Breaking), Sarchi'na created the bowl as a means to help her people. At the time a great plague was sweeping the continent and the surrounding isles. Her creation granted to a woman of her choosing the ability to heal the sick and mend the wounded. Before leaving, Sarchi'na gave the bowl to the First Healer and told her to find others who desired to help and train them to follow her.
Since then, Healers used it to grant trainees the Blessing of Sarchi'na until 436 BtB when other rituals took its place. It then remained under guard in the Healer Academy. While some of the lore behind Sarchi'na's visit, and the Blessings she bestowed, faded into legend, the bowl remained. Many young students attempted to steal the bowl to use for their own means, but they were always caught and sent away with no Blessing until the king decreed that any such attempts would be met with death. The attempts became rarer after that.
During the chaos of the Great War before the Breaking, the bowl went missing. It was stolen by a small group of trainees who hoped to use its power to help heal those wounded in battle. However, after granting them its power, the bowl vanished again.
In 10 AtB (After the Breaking) the bowl was sighted in a small mountain village where a disease had almost wiped out the population. The bowl granted a young girl its power before disappearing.
In 150 AtB several of the Islands claimed to have the bowl, one of which put a stone bowl of a strikingly similar description on display. But this is not Sarchi'na's bowl.
In 534 AtB, a middle-aged widower discovered the bowl in a cave defended by centipedes and winged beetles of monstrous size. He took it from its resting place and did everything he could to destroy it.
