Chieftess Fænya Omar'di

Fænya was born to the Chieftess of the Omar'di Isles, who tragically died in childbirth. Her father, the Chief Ti'mali (Provisional/Temporary Chief), raised her to be a fighter who could lead in times of war and times of peace. When she reached her 20th year, she became the Chief of the Omar'di Isles and joined the Warriors of Sarchi'na.
It was around this time that the War began. Fænya was able to bring many of the Ta'een Isles together to face the threat from the Contenae, who opposed the attempts of the Ta'een to spread to the continent. For three years the War waged on with no end in sight, but then the Prince of the Contenae approached Fænya's encampment alone and proposed a possible peaceful solution: the joining of the Ta'een with the Contenae through marriage.
Fænya married the prince, but this did not end the war the way they had hoped. The Contenae King did not acknowledge the marriage, or the daughter that came from it but a year later. Fænya rejoined her troops sometime after her daughter's birth, leaving the babe with her father.
Fænya was eventually captured by the king, now father-in-law, and murdered in an attempt to draw out his son. What happened then is the Tale of the Breaking, and while it involves Fænya's magic, she was not present for it.
She was the first Warrior to start a family without retiring, and certainly the first to join battle immediately after having a child. Many believe that she fought with her forces mere hours after giving birth, though most women find this highly improbable and dismiss it as fantasy.
