Y4 D35 & 36

General Summary

Brullock arrives in town and for once, everyone is there! He introduces himself to everyone and Austin offers him 2gp a piece for seeds, which Brullock quickly provides. Austin, happy to have something to plant, heads over to the garden to plant some Basic Herb seeds. Everyone else in town is preparing to head out and find some Cherry Wood because Silver knew where it was and Cherry is stronger than Ash or Pine. While in town, Silver has a vision of a man he knows well, surrounded by a glowing, red nimbus. He had an idea of what this meant and so he did what he does best...asked the gods about the vision. They informed him that the man in his vision had somehow shielded himself from their view and Silver would have to make a potion of Nightshade, Mushrooms and Lichen in order to track this person, who could only have been shielded from the gods by some dark force. The gods charged Silver to kill the man that Silver knew as Turkanon. With that on his mind, Silver set out to find his friend Alger , as he knew this task would require Alger's help. When Silver , Conord and the others found Alger near a large Rhino carcass and harnessing up a young Rhino to a cart, Alger was quite surprised. Varren , Mellis and Isabella were also quite surprised to finally meet the legendary "Yeti" the others spoke of, and Alger did not disappoint. Not only did he tower over them all at 12' tall, but he came bearing gifts for Conord which included all that Conord would need to build a Town Hall and a Blacksmith Forge in town...almost. They had the necessary value of gold in gold scraps, but they would need actual coins in order to run the economy of their city. The next hour of the day was spent discussing what should be done to come up with the funds necessary to establish the town as soon as possible; as Silver and Alger discussed their respective recent run ins with the Lizard People and how there was now a clear threat looming on the horizon. One that proved to be much more serious than the puny greenskins demanding gold from them. This was the race of people who wiped out an entire civilization who was now aware of Sage's Hollow's existence. The group finally decided to head north, to an old derelict ship that Alger and Silver once visited that may hold something of value that they could use to solve their problem.
