Sergrade
“The Pliznys can call their new state whatever they want, but everyone knows the real power will always be in Sergrade.” –Rosak Alist, Azeri diplomat
Sergrade Republic
Structure
Following the collapse of Oyapilic and the death of Otto Plizny III, the Sergradic people rallied around the Sergradic Nationalist Party (NSP), whose popularity allowed them to form a single party state, stamping out objectors with iron fisted social and political policies.
Culture
The people of Sergrade are not used to the political uncertainty in which they have recently found themselves, and have turned to the NSP for guidance. Descending from the conquerors who built the Oyapilic state, many have a fierce sense of ethnic pride and identity.
History
• 750–795 – Economic depression affects the entire region, raising ethnic tensions to an all-time high as different ethnic groups are blamed for the hardship. To the present day, these tensions have not dissipated. The event is known as the Depression of 750.

Foreign Relations
Following the collapse of Oyapilic, Sergrade has maintained an air of superiority over other Pilic states. The newly formed national army has inherited the efficiency and discipline of the old Sergradic army. Other neighboring nations outside of the former Oyapilic states acknowledge Sergrade as the dominant regional power, and the only real threat on an international level.
Agriculture & Industry
Despite boasting arguably the strongest economy in the region, many citizens still subside on careers as farmers.
Trade & Transport
In spite of a largely agrarian economy, a new merchant class has made significant inroads during the late Second Princedom period after Sergradic meddling in the Rowic economy.
