The World of Acuthan

The World of Acuthan was a world of great promise. The direction of it's evolutionary process was providing the ingredients that would culminate in a wondrous transformation.   That has changed.   It's diversity of species and perspectives creates such vigor and beauty that even the most feeling poets fail in their efforts to describe it. Yet defects and anomalies conspire to darken the world with such evil and ugliness in which even a demon would feel ill at ease.   These two opposing directions may pull the world literally apart. The days of final judgement are close and the balance is fine. The World of Acuthan and its peoples stand on the verge of greatness immeasurable and equally of utter and meaningless obliteration.   Who will step forward to determine its fate.
