The Grim Reaper

Kain, also known as "The Grim reaper" is a Jeager Outrider and outcast. Kain was born after the fall, his father a former GSG-9 member and now a Jeager konstaple. His mother a judge and former student of law in the ancient city of Berlin. As a child, Kain spend most of his days being groomed as a future Jeager. This was mostly due to his mother's influence, who saw what the world had become and understood the need for strong and well-trained soldiers. When The Long March started, Kain was already an Outrider of the Jeagers and the current Huntmasters right-hand-man. A proud, dedicated member of his family and a defender of the weak. That all changed during The Wasting Times. When the Huntmaster asked for sacrifices, those that agreed asked not to be left to starve. It was agreed that they would be given a quick and painless death. A single soldier was asked to step forward and carry out this dark deed and one did. Kain He stepped forward not for bloodlust or dedication, but because he understood that whoever would do it would be an outcast once the deed was done. He did not want someone else to be forced to carry that burden. So he accepted it. A large group of Jeagers left the colony, only Kain returned. After that, he was forever known as "The Grim Reaper".
