Titanic Eternals
From the First Light came the Titanic Eternals, and from them came the armies, races, and cities of the New Age of Light. Baldor, who was the oldest of the Titanic Eternals, created the City of Hygod. This place was home to the Lightborne race known as the Archaelves. This city stretched into the skies and extended beyond the clouds. It was here that the Viagothe Arsenal, also known as the Alforge, was established. It was said that any weapon constructed within this factory could bring even the mightiest of gods to their knees.
Ghald, who was the second oldest of the Titanic Eternals, created the City of Thorzeth. Here a large cathedral was built and named the Umprae Basilica by the Archaelves and Dweorg who took to the land. It was in Thorazeth where the greatest of the world’s armies were formed and the discovery of six ancient statues came to light. These statues were of ancient warriors, immortalized into guardian golems, known as the Gobelisks. These were Lazoth, Zaphoth, Sadoth, Kamoth, Raphoth, and Vuloth, and were said to only awaken again when the Veil of Shadows threatened to retake the globe.
Vindjinn, who was the third oldest of the Titanic Eternals, created the City of Alavon. Vindjinn created the Thiene, who were crafted in his image and possessed untapped Maeisterism, which was the power to have manipulation over matter, time, space, reality and the elements. Most Thieme lived and died, never having unlocked their hidden potential. Only a few had access to perform great feats with this natural power, and with those few individuals, Alavon grew into a place dedicated to the study and mastery over Maeisterism.
With the creation of the Thiene came the formation of the soul with which each of them was fused with. This was how the Thiene came to be known as the Soulborne. Jonir, who was the middle sibling of the Titanic Eternals, created the City of Oreium. Oreium, having been established above the Pit of the Abyssal Ethos, was handed over to Jonir’s creations. These were the beings known as the Faeora. Possessing powers far beyond that of the Thiene, generations of the Faeora were dedicated to snuffing out the Abyssal Ethos, as they knew a powerful agent of the veil lurked beneath it.
From the pit came monsters who roamed the outer walls of the city and isolated Oreium. Not losing sight of their goal to defeat darkness, the Faeora used their powers, early on, to absorb a fraction of the Abyssal Ethos’ power. It was through this that they became known as the Shadowborne. Aemaet, who was the third to youngest of the Titanic Eternals, created the City of Arkhamdore. This was the resting place of the Archquondaik Gods and the Grand Sanctum Library, known as the Gathos Athenaeum.
It was here where old knowledge rested and drove mad all those who discovered it. Endless curses and the twisted pursuit of knowledge left the city in a perpetual state of absolute night, as the Veil of Shadows had found its way into the heart of the city. For years control of the city was fought over by two fractions of the Thiene. These were the Ulgborne, who desired to unleash their secret knowledge of the Archquondaik Gods upon the world, and the Aftborne who desired to keep the arcane knowledge a secret for all eternity.
Bogbel, who was the second to youngest of the Titanic Eternals, created the City of Lithoria. Within it, he made the race known as the Dweorg who were expert miners, proficient wine-makers, god-like architects and mighty warriors. They created their city in and around the giant Tree of Yeg, and wove their catacombs within the roots of the tree to be at one with the earth. It was said that the tree itself was the crown of Bogbel, thrown down when he renounced his lordship over Lithoria and handed it over to his creations, the Dweorg.
It was because of their creation from black soil that the Dweorg were named the Darkborne. Girin, who was the youngest of the Titanic Eternals, created the City of Felmor. This small kingdom was an outpost and a meeting place where the Shrine of Eternals lied. Here the Titanic Eternals would meet every tenth century to grow in power off of the worship that was offered by them, and to return into the First Light from which they came. Here they would offer a fraction of their power to the light to keep it shining.
As long as this act was repeated, the darkness of the Veil of Shadows could never return. This city also came to be populated and shared by the Thiene, Dweorg, and Archaelves who all stood in worship under the Titanic Eternals. The Eternals are a race of deities, all differing from one another. How their bodies work, what powers them and how they are are mostly unknown. The Eternals do not grow, nor do they age after the form they had chosen to take when they had appeared.
Born out of the First Light, the Titanic Eternals are beings of absolute Maeisterism energy. They do not age and can live forever. It is unknown whether they can be killed or not. The Eternals require no sustenance as they are composed entirely of Maeister magic.
