Felmor

Felmor, also known as the Red City, is a shrine-dedicated utopia which holds, at its center, the First Light. Within its labyrinth of stone walls, maze-like corridors, and marketless streets, only those who have given their lives to the worship of the First Light dwell here. Felmor lies at the end of the Sackcloth Valley, beyond the Velshpar Desert and atop the Uuloc Canyon. It is a quiet place by day, but as the sun sets the shrine of the First Light emerges from its pully-system, within a red stone well at the small city's edge.   At night the First Light illuminates Felmor and hundreds gather to worship it. This city is said to be the most enchanted place in the world as the number of protection spells, made up by Maeisterism masters, can indefinitely keep the light safe from any mortal force willing to steal it. Beyond the desert lies outposts full of magic-users and warriors, all dedicated to the protection of the light. The worshipers of the First Light are called the Lightborers, while the magicians and warriors among the outposts carry the title of Soliloqons.   It is known that if the sacred city of Felmor ever falls, and the First Light is extinguished, the Veil of Shadows will rule the world again. The exact population of Felmor is unknown. This is also the only known city to be under the long-distance protection of the continents of Hygod and Thorazeth.
