Everyone is able to direct it, to modify it at will. All it takes is the will and a bit of knowledge.

The Somme is the book of the SIGMAR's cult. He preaches The visionary's guidelines for leading a decent and respectful life. It highlights the knowledge and behavior that must be adapted to them through wisdom oaths and rules of knowledge.

A special book

Anyone can get a Somme, it has no price, just ask one at the SIGMAR's Temple. Although it is a book created and distributed everywhere, it is customary to consider its copy as unique in the world, which is technically the case. Because, certainly in appearance, it looks like all the others: a gray cover with a sigma engrave on the cover. But in reality each of the copies is under the effect of a random and unique enchantment. Thus, the book representing the Worship but especially the life, as it should be led, becomes the partner of the owner. A real link is created between the book and the cultist which reinforces the enchantment and symbolizes an advancement on the right path.

The knowledge of everyone must form the safety, happiness and comfort of all, and especially survival.

An enchanted book

The enchantments that the Sommes can apply are very diverse. They get busy if, and only if, their owner follow the book's instructions on a weekly basis. The SIGMAR's cult is full of compassion and lenient. A gap from time to time is forgiven. An active enchantment is always beneficial if the conditions are met. The owner is therefore awarded a bonus in life, randomly as: 10% additional chance; reducing physical damage or knowing how to do something like a master. If she is able to reward the good faithful, she punishes the bad ones. In this case, the enchantment is always the same. Non-lethal, it is a deterrent enchantment that casts misfortune on the sinner. That is to say that he will miss dying every moment (but obviously only miss) and the goal is that fear brings him back to the right path. It may be violent and direct, but it is an effective way of saying that it is what you harvest when you are not doing well.

There is an alternative version of the Somme: The Arcane Somme. It is an arcane book attributed to The Sparks. Equipped with a blue cover, it is unique to each Spark. It is valuable only in the hands of its owner, whom he himself chooses. Only the book has no value or interest. The Arcane Somme contains a blessing. It makes the Sparks almost invincible and controls their powers. Control is the word because even if they are amplified, a Spark must not kill (except urgent exception and direct authorization of The visionary).

No one can even share the existence of an acquaintance if it can threaten in any way the physical or psychological integrity of one or more persons.

A sinner book

The Somme is a forbidden book in Theocracy of Homeca. In addition to being preached by an elf, the SIGMAR's cult goes against the principles of the Theocracy who swear by war and violence. She believes that the world can not change without being forced into it while the SIGMAR's cult believes that only a world in peace can move forward.

Only rumors speculate about the creation of the Sommes. The most popular says that every sum is written by the hand of the visionary himself. But the most likely theory is that it makes them copy by magic. The materials for making them are extremely expensive and precious: paper from The King of the faeiries, dragon's eye ink, wyvern skin blanket. These materials are very rare, which brings the opinion of the people on a rumor saying that it synthesizes them by magic. But he is sure of one thing. This is not a rumor but a fact observed and reported by one of The Sparks, Shadow, who would have seen The visionary himself enchanting the Sommes. Some speculate then that each copy is given to a specific person.
