A Sympathetic World

If one knows the shape of a place - if they are familiar with a location or an object, as they might be with a family member - then of course they can ask that thing for a favor, and it might acquiesce. And why wouldn't it? If a place one loves could make you more comfortable, by turning aside the heat of the day, or silencing the winds, then why shouldn't it do so? This is the reality of the shattered lands in the age of dead gods.

Manifestation

Varies. The sand of the desert might fall from clothing when asked by one who knows the heat of that land well. A ball might return more easily to its owner, when bounced off a wall. The rain might wait, that extra minute, before it falls on the head of a woman returning home, to the house she has lived in for many years. Small gestures.
