This world is dark, dreary, cold. Some people live in bliss, above the shithole that is the rest of the world. civilizations were built and fell, people caring for each other, but then a surge of dark magic incased the land, not much was saved. The academy of the Arcane was one of the only places left not completely savaged by darkness. The elven lands were saved too, but humans, dwarves, and the under dark were thrown into an abyss of greed, pride, violence, and brutality. the shore is filled with pirates and smugglers, filled with crime.
