The Discordian Theorem

We Are The Exception...

Shell Game

The Discordian Theorem is the final stage of learning for those who can reach it. Those who do will learn a valuable lesson. Life is just a game. It is not for fun. The game is for keeps and the winner takes all. One learns quick that this game is rigged by fate, but chaos can even the odds.
The powers wielded by those in the upper echelon on The Discordians tend to baffle any who witness them. Referred to as Monarchs, they stumble across the field of battle, safe as can be. They bend physics to their will and break all the rules. Anything they touch can be a strange attractor and they leave them like time bombs everywhere they go. They taunt and toy with their opponents, never letting on that they have control of the entire situation. They are a group of con artists who will cheat life the same way life cheats everyone else. They are rebels, and they have a desperate need to misbehave.

Cry Havoc

At full power, the abilities in Arcana Discordia can be molded. Energy can be forged into weapons, and all the while, the universe itself seems to adjust the scales in their favor as if their opponents are destined to fail.

A Most Pleasant Melody

Synchronicity is the effect of the song she plays. Probability and quantum mechanics are the notes she coulduse. Causality is the instrument and the talent. The composition itself however comes with the final theorem. As one masters each theorem, they gain more insight into how chaos operates. It is only those who master the genre that get to truly hear her perform.
It's a sudden realization. The moment of clarity comes in a vacant stare. Music is all you hear as you realize the truth.
The call of Eris beckons all of us. Memories of past events reveal new compositions that you couldn't hear back then. She was playing for you the whole time. To master the art of chaos is to see reality stripped of its simplicity. You learned to listen to the song. You have headed her call. Welcome to her loving embrace.

I love your magic system. No, really. I love the use of chaos and how perfectly every bit of the magic reflects and takes a deeper look into reality.
