Corporal Amity Jensen (a.k.a. Amaya)
Amaya Jensen was a baker from the small English town of Kilgal. She practiced archery from a young age in her free time quickly becoming proficient and finding it enjoyable, though she has never killed anything with her bow. Only 18 now she was conscripted at the age of 17 having never been taught to fight in her town beyond the knowledge of archery. She is slightly scared by her Lee Enfield rifle and finds it unwieldy to haul also being uneager to use it, and beyond that she is equipped with standard infantry kit. She is very cheery and upbeat about most things trying to keep a positive mindset despite the misery around her though she does wish she had been allowed to be a medic so she wouldn't have to fight. She is a wood elf druid and is only identifiable by her pointed ears, shorter stature and love of nature.
She grew up with a brother(Edric) and a sister(Emira) who she looked up to until they were conscripted upon coming of age at which point they both got sent away and haven't been able to send letters often. Before their conscription she would assist them in the family bakery where she quickly gained a love for baking and cooking, especially sweets. When she wasn't busy in the bakery she was assisting home front war efforts such as food drives and even becoming a member of the civil patrol. She carries around a stalk of wheat taped to the interior cover of her book to remind her of the wheat fields that surround her town.
During her training she only fired her rifle during two courses in which she preformed adequately hitting targets efficiently at the 150 yard range. She tried to request a change to medical services but was told she lacked the qualifications and kept as an infantry soldier. While she possess firearms, small arms, and close quarters hand-to-hand training she is not particularly good at combat as she has spent time reading medical textbooks and papers so she could learn basic combat medical skills and certain simpler procedures.
During the free time she has she will doodle in her book, sing, read, or bake(if possible). She is a charming, relaxed person with some fundamental believes that have caused issues before. While a bit naïve, her truly kind heart can conquer any challenge even when it comes to cheering up the most stubborn of soldiers, occasionally to a point where she might end up annoying the less cheerful of them. She will never give up until she ends a problem she has tackled, and while she may be but an innocent child, her blind faith in people and god is mostly welcome. She is earnest and hardworking and believes that everyone is capable of good and everyone can find salvation if they truly desire it.
Positive, upbeat, and kind 17 year old who joined His Majesty's Royal Land Forces illegally but has been allowed to continue service due to accomplishments. While she has no vow of pacifism she has never hurt anyone and will do everything in her power to keep it that way.
