Covenous Parchment

"There's not a lot you can do with Covenous Parchment if you don't have any Ether on hand. It's pretty much useless to most people, myself included. But it's extremely durable and easy to print patterns on. Most people use it as a sort of fashion statement, but it's intended use was to help channel Ether to where it needs to go. You see, the intake of Ether is through the skin somewhere near the heart on the chest, most creatures absorb Ether this way, but sometimes people have trouble channeling it to their extremities (feet, hands, tail and head) due to either inexperience or a lack of channels in the limbs. Covenous Parchment circumvents that by simply acting as an extra Ether vein and moving it to the limbs using marks etched onto the parchment.   These days, only Sparkers and Witches use this stuff for magic. The rest of us use it for sweet leopard prints and "3 wolf Moons"."

Properties

Material Characteristics

Using this sample we have on hand, we can describe it as "cloth-like parchment with glowing blue wolf moons."   These guys have great fashion.

History & Usage

Discovery

"This stuff was invented around the age of Scholars, so it's pretty old, but we still use the same recipe of plant fibers and sheep wool. The only thing that makes it special is that some prints use fancy gemstone ink to channel Ether."

Cultural Significance and Usage

"Commonly associated with magic, Witches and lascivious bards, it has somewhat of a "lewd" wrap, most people jokingly stereotype whoever wears it as "sex gods". I'm not saying that I'm not, I'm just saying that I "totally" am".

Industrial Use

"High Elf nobles provide Covenous Parchments to their Sparker escorts to help them direct Ether to them and only them so that they can leave Ether Font cities and still feel invigorated."

Manufacturing & Products

"Mostly just shirts and fancy accesorries, like this hot leather neck cowl I'm wearing. It has roses on it!   P.S. I'm only now realizing that I might be too flamboyant, but I'm gonna roll with it, I will be fabulous."

Rarity
"I would put it as uncommon."
