The Shop and Snack Shack

An unusual little establishment, part pub, and part general store; the Shop and Snack Shack is not the best or most popular of the many establishments in The Trinity's Market Square but it has a dedicated customer base mostly made up of the district's low class and downtrodden residents. The store stocks general goods at affordable prices, good for both long-term residents and travelers passing through; the fluctuating prices and manipulative sales that plague most of Market Square are completely absent at the Shop and Snack Shack. The fresh food is served both from inside the building and an open counter that faces the footpath, and those who try it often consider it quality street-food; tasty, greasy, and cheap. The menu contains such dishes as "Spicy beef buns", "Honey Delights" (soft pastries filled with honey and cream", and their specialty "Flaming Cheese Onions". The small business is operated by a group of four friends and co-workers, Lucius Abara is the nominal head of the business; a calm and reserved Wood Elf of only 28 years, an adult by most standards but a child in the eyes of his own people. Lucius' right-hand man and possible lover is Lee Loncourt, an exiled son of a noble human family who became a Swiftstride Shifter with feline features, he is nervous but friendly, and dresses effeminately despite identifying fully as a male. The young woman only known as Fennel is a strange, enthusiastic person, cooking and picking up supplies for the Shack as well as working at the counter. Outside of her job Fennel has become a local celebrity for vigilante activity and helping people around Market Square, during these moments she utilizes powerful magic, which has led to many rumours and theories as to how she came about these powers. The final and newest member of the group is Congenial Fang (nicknamed Fang), a Tabaxi who used to be a minor criminal and pickpocket in Market Square before Fennel offered her a place to stay. Fang is much happier with a steady job and no longer has to steal to stay fed, she works on busy days and when other members of staff are busy or unable to work for some reason.
