Hyperborea

Hyperborea was a fictitious land far to the north with an excellent climate, and long sunny days. The people were intelligent, peaceful and lived a utopian dream. Or so according to the Greeks. It has, in elements of scholarly debate, now been used to describe a single continent that broke apart due to a great flood. In actuality the was a single continent and it broke up due to tectonic drift, and would later be called Pangaea.
Some species that have myths & legends from those times still refer to it as Hyperborea, and believe that they have the right to rule over all the continents of the world. Most peoples don't refer to it as this and have no knowledge such a continent every existed.
