Carcosa

Carcosa is a fabled city many thousands of years old. It is mysterious & barely described, due to nobody ever remembering any exact details about it. What is known is that the people who have been to it, is that there is a castle at the centre, and the sea is nearby. Carcosa  is thought to be the seat of the King In Yellow, and his throne is there. Madness is evident in the locals, as well as despair, with many taking their lives there. Those that have visited are meant to have passed through some type of portal or ritual to get there, and involves some type of play being performed. Talk of many actors, and theatres are regularly brought up. Other than this nothing much is known.
