The First Tear of Myrtle
In the center of Myrtle’s Beach [Hercules Thompson Street](landmark:0403585f-d8b8-4dec-931d-cced9c1da04f) is in the shape of a lopsided figure eight. This makes two year drop shaped islands of buildings in between the two loops that the street make, and these are called the Tears of Myrtle.
The First Tear of Myrtle, just like the second one, have shops and other businesses lining the street, with a maze of alleys among prefabricated cube homes inside the tear.
