Nash Auhbuddy
N. Auhbuddy was a crewman on Procrustes who came aboard at roughly the same time as Dave Keller became Finnian Brooke's cabin boy.
When Dave became a regular crewman and was let out of the cage in the Captain's cabin, he abandoned Brooke to be the lover of N. Auhbuddy instead, or Nash as he called himself. Captain Brooke became more and more jealous and suspicious of Nash and eventually learned that Nash was his archnemesis, Space Marshal Blast Bolton, who'd joined the crew as an undercover operative. Brooke arranged to have Nash, or rather Blast, killed on their next heist, and it looked like that's what happened at first, but it turned out that Nash had learned of the plan and made it look like it succeeded, and instead made it safely back to Aeolus City.
He tried to appear as a character witness on Dave Keller's behalf at his funeral, but those who wanted the boy dead made sure he didn't get the chance.
