Harvey Bell

In a town of just under 100 people, Harvey Bell seems to always be the talk of the town.
One of the few members of Maple River who has never left the town, not even once for vacation, Harvey feels a great pride towards the town. He also believes that he is the only one who truly knows what's going on in the mysterious Tall Pines that surround Maple River.
His passion has made him one of the larger characters in town, It would be hard to find any Maple River residence who hasn't heard of Harvey Bell or hasn't listened to his nightly talk show at least once, even if they won't admit it publicly.
When Harvey isn't at the town library or at the Red Pine Tavern he can be found at the one and only radio station for Maple River that happens to also be his home.
Each night at midnight Harvey hosts a talk radio show in which he goes on long rants, talks calls from listeners and tell strange stories of Maple River. He is an open book and isn't afraid to tell some of the stranger stories of Maple River such as the story of Tilly Ross's Compass or Bill Suthers Missing Truck. He has only missed one night in the thirty years of hosting the show and that is the only story he won't tell.
Over these thirty years Harvey has obtained some loyal listeners who call them selves "The Warning Bells" who cling to every word Harvey spouts and even acts as information gatherers for Harvey. These "Warning Bells" cling on to every word of Harvey's and will spread his stories all around town.
While small in numbers, Harvey and his "Warning Bells" always seem to be causing trouble and spreading stories of the supernatural and other mystic forces at work in the Tall Pines. This has become a problem for the people who just want to live in peace within Maple River and who think all the supernatural stories of Maple River are nothing but stories to be told around the campfire. This has caused a small feud and split in the community of Maple River.

Harvey is incredibly skinny even due to the fact that his diet consist of off brand diet sodas and gas station sandwiches.

Harvey has a round face despite his skinny body and sports a large white beard that accompanies his shoulder length wispy white hair.

While Harvey's radio personality might be confident and verbose his in person personality is very anxious. This causes him to always be looking over his shoulder or to the other side of the room.

Apparel & Accessories

In the winters Harvey can always be spotted wearing his heavy blue flannel jacket with complementary racoon skin hat. In the summers who will most likely see him in saggy old jeans and a homemade "Warning Bells" t-shirt made by one of his fans.
