The Veil

This forest is inhabited by an ancient, secretive civilization of wood elves. They call the forest V’ael (The Light), which the humans interpret as “Veil”. The name sticks because the forest is constantly shrouded in a thick fog.
These elves fiercely protect their homeland, and very few outsiders that venture within its territory without invitation are allowed to live. The reason for their secretive nature is unknown to most, but the bards tell of rumors that it has something to do with the nearby volcano.
