South of Cardus . Original home and gathering place of the rock gnomes. After the Great War, the Duergar stole their glittering gem mines and converted their beautifully decorated holes and caverns to military outposts. The gnomes fought bravely for their homeland, but were ultimately defeated, and driven north into Cardus. The Cardish humans accepted the refugees as their own, and using the technological surge brought in by the small folk, they developed a fleet of airships to protect the kingdom.
