The swamp is ruled by Lizardman tribes. Little is known to the humans about these lands, except that any human vessel that dares to venture too far up the river will surely be ambushed and stripped of all its metal.
The lizardmen serve the Queen of Stone, Magora, who lives in the ruins of Coromagus, an ancient city build by a fallen civilization.
The lizardmen are ruled by their chieftain Xartan, and are organised into three tribes:

• The red scale Xanthor tribe, led by Xartan
• The black scale Oran tribe, led by Mallok
• The green scaled Kuroth tribe, led by Hedora.
