The Spine

The Very Basics

Written by the amateur, Krill Me.
Although the sentience on the planet has been traveling through The Spine for a century now, there is still a fair bit unknown. The players will know about the popular and threatening animals that live in The Spine.
The Spine is an equatorial mountain range. It separates the world and has separated the civilizations on either side for millennia. Until a century ago when a few brave Triton explorers came back with harrowing news of the other side.   The Spine is incredibly bio-diverse and it’s native inhabitants are strange because of it’s unique habitat and lack of contact from sentient life for so long. From huge feathered creatures from only the depths of a man’s nightmares to lazy rock-eaters that live peaceful lives undisturbed underground. It’s a horrifying and fascinating with much still undiscovered in the land of the The Spine.

Geography

The outer rim of The Spine consists of towering mountains that all consider impassable, and none have dared attempted to scale. On the inner parts of the spine it can vary from some large hills to sheer cliffs.   The Spine is an equatorial range so it goes around the world horizontally.

Natural Resources
