Disruptr was visited by her criminal mom, Scarlet Fox, who wanted to have a night out together. Wendy shut her down, and refused to go anywhere with her. Scarlet Fox tried to talk with her, to convince her that her mother is proud of her, and that Fox only wanted to help. She presented Disruptr with the plans to steal a shipment of genetically modified plasma from Zaibatsu Tech that could be of great use to the people of The Lowlands.

Kinetic met with the HEADspace streamer and member of Kill Icons, Tragic Alice. She tried to convince Rani to have the Vandals look into the murder connected to Neur0chrome, a virtual drug thought to be an urban legend. A lawyer, Elizabeth Anders, was found dead in her home in The Lowlands. Securicorps Adjucators had declared the cause of death to be Neur0chrome overdose, and were trying to pin it on Kill Icons.

Big Sis and Disruptr were on the way to work with Martin Scragland at Grindstone, when they came across Brett Buchanan shaking down a local shop for protection money. Joni confronted Brett, who she hadn't seen since she was a little girl, and told him to stay away from Yeti Boy. Brett tried to plead his case, but Joni was disgusting by his criminal behavior and violence ensued. Joni wolfed out, while Disruptr went invisible to aid her. Joni beat him soundly, and would have done worse, but Wendy insisted they not kidnap him, and in the end they left him in the gutter.

During their lunch break, Kinetic and Yeti Boy left Kwanchai Q. Degrassi Secondary School to get some lunch off campus, at Sushirito's. On the way they bumped into the Nightstalkers and Vendetta, all in their civilian alter egos. What followed was some veiled threats, some overt threats, and a fair amount of confusion, over a traditional Japanese/Mexican fusion lunch, made from the freshest ingredients and served with love. Sushiritos forever!

Later, at The Clinic, the Vandals met to discuss the events of the day, and Disruptr presented her mother's idea to hijack the shipment of GM Z-Tech Plasma. The meeting was going to plan, with most of the team agreeing that the blood should go to a local hospital, like Holy Oak Memorial. Joni made it clear that she wanted to claim the Lowlands as territory of the Vandals, and the group tackled some big questions about what that would mean and if it was even possible. Then Colt found out that Joni had beat up his dad, and soon the shapeshifting siblings were throwing down and wrecking the Clinic in the process. Vendetta and Disruptr barely managed to break up the fight, and Yeti Boy ran off into the night.

Rani found Colt alone on a rooftop in Yeti Boy form, eating some leftover Sushirito's. Rani comforted him, and Colt confessed his feelings for her. Rani hesitated for a moment, it was all happening too fast, but she couldn't deny the attraction she there and gave in to his primal magnetism. They shared a passionate, Japanese/Mexican fusion flavored kiss on a rooftop.
