The Sparrows

"A liar, a survivor, a fighter, a thief, a forger and a chemist."   The world of my WIP YA Fantasy novel 'The Sparrows.' In which a port city filled with the dregs of humanity from all the land is ruled by four 'kings' - the leaders of criminal gangs preying on strong and weak alike.   A young prince renounces his birthright upon his father's death but the remaining three kings can't allow him to leave for fear he'll bring down the fragile ecosystem they've created.   A girl of silk and blades refuses to be bent or broken by the world she's becoming entrapped in. So when a boy with a crooked smile offers her a chance to join his ring of thieves how could she say no? Soon the two of them have amassed the perfect crew - a pickpocket, a forger, and a chemist.   All that's left to do is persuade the rogue prince to join their cause and unleash hell on the kings tearing their city apart.
