Armed bodyguards? For an all-Powerful being that could snap your neck with his thoughts as soon as look at you? More like the Throwback's Personal Harem. And who's bloody paying for it? That's what I want to know.

The Throwback's Guard are a military unit whose job is to act as bodyguards for the Raskvaerii Throwback, Cedomir Ilyuhkin (Pronounced CHED-o-mir). They are personally chosen by the Throwback from amongst the ranks of the the Oprikarr. Those who serve with the Throwback tend to stay in the unit for most of their careers.

History

Cedomir Ilyuhkin was one of the last Saeric Throwbacks to accept an entourage of personal guards. He finally relented after the disappearance of the Kredasene Throwback, Julius Gravestein, when Karr Eduard forced him to accept some form of personal protection.
Since its early days, the unit has numbered ten members and one captain.

Uniform

The uniform for the Throwback's Guard is considered to be the dullest and least embellished of all the Oprikarr companies. While the Throwback has allowed for stylistic changes to the uniform in order to keep with prevailing fashion trends within the army, he does not condone the excessive use of gold or silver trim, or ridiculous buttons and sashes. This allows for a sombre, professional look that is still considered outdated and uninspiring by most of the Imperial court.
