A bridge that connects two important places.
The Jeweled Bridge
The Jeweled Bridge stretches over the Glimmering Waters, between the Crimson Court and the Golden Court.
Day 2: Throne
A throne room, palace, or seat of power.
The Highest Seat
The Highest Seat is the audience and proclamation throne room within the Court of Change's hidden palace.
Day 3: Screen
A tradition that takes place behind a screen.
The Seeker's Shrine
The Seeker's Shrine is the small shrine within which the Omdese druid's
coming of age ceremony takes place.
Day 4: Cupola
A cupola or dome-roofed building.
Grand Ay'tsel Arena
The
Grand Ay'tsel Arena is an arena for racing and fightin in the Grumbron Undercaves.
Day 5: Glass
A building known for its stained-glass art.
Motek Academy Library
The library at
Motek Academy is mainly staffed by faries, and has grand red stained-glass windows.
Day 6: Locks
A building or landmark infamous for its locks.
Illitsyn Cabinetry
Illistyn Cabinetry is a shop with a workshop people aren't allowed to enter.
Day 7: Ladders
A building known for its number of ladders or steps.
E'Lai Tower
E'Lai Tower is filled with ladders and floors of varying heights, as well as many rooms that once used to be secret.
Day 8: Barrels
An important material, item or trade-good stored in barrels.
Butterbee Chestnut Honey Butter
Butterbee Chestnut Honey Butter is a sweet and salty butter made out of the chestnuts that is harvested from the chestnut trees that grow in the forest, and the honey that they collect from the beehives built into the trees.
Day 9: Cannon
A military base defended by cannons.
Covos Fort
Covos Fort is one of many forts built on the edge of the
Coal Desert, this one in particular sitting by the shore of the Aromire River, long in the past erected to protect the commonfolk from the suspected uprising of the
Coal Elves and abyssals.
Day 10: Library
A famous library.
Crossroads Trove
Crossroads Trove is a library built by druids and the deity
Vixnili, found within the depths of the Gilded Brass Forest.
Day 11: Laboratory
A laboratory or place of science and academic pursuit.
Harmelk's Cave
Within the mountains there is a
cave with strange equipment and tomes set up, where
Vvakol councilmember Harmelk spends a lot of time studying, researching, and simply being.
Day 12: Slumber
In inn or hotel famous for an excellent night's slumber.
Emvesrig Bed & Breakfast
There's an
inn at the
Grumbron Undercaves where insomniacs like to go.
Day 13: Cages
A prison or zoo filled with cages.
The Locking Cage
The Locking Cage is a high-security prison that belongs to the
Shape Chasers.
Day 14: Workshop
A workshop that creates an important common item.
The Paper Mill
The Paper Mill is supposedly the biggest manufacturer of papers on the
Somer Plate.
Day 15: Garden
A royal or municipal garden or arboretum.
Eldford Arboretum
Eldford Arboretum is a forest garden created by the farmer Halmun Manan, in honour of the forest deity from their homevillage, lesser deity Thiu Lonespark after they moved to their wife's home on Eldford Farm.
Day 16: Hall
A communal hall of gathering and lively conversation.
Ruthger House
Ruthger House is a two-story hall for drinking, companionship, and simple merriment and feasts.
Day 17: Mess
A military mess or organization's cafeteria.
Ethis Hall
Ethis Hall is the mess and tearoom reserved for the use of the
Vvakol Council, located within the Mirror's Diet.
Day 18: Coffins
A cemetary or mausoleum where coffins are buried.
Dust Chamber
Dust chambers can be found all over the
Coal Desert and sometimes, though much more rarily, in other regions of the
Somer Plate, and act as a mausoleum for the followers of the flame and death god from the coal pantheon, Zuzel Bissan.
Day 19: Medicine
A hospital or other place of medicine.
St. Elvit Care Home
St. Elvit Care Home is a cottage hospital, with a state mage as doctor, located on the edge of
Frebesh forest.
Day 20: Chamber
A famous public place or chamber.
Torlams Circle
Torlams Circle is a public theatre in the village of Aros, by the edge of
Frebesh forest, where it's not uncommon for amateur groups to set up plays, concerts, and shows. It is also a place where people go to hear public proclamations.
Day 21: Radiation
A (super)natural source of radiation, light or heat.
Chamber of Light
The
Chamber of Light is a punishment chamber withing the
Iridescent Palace, which the clergy of the
Court of Change keep as a secret from the diefied
changelings.
Day 22: Dock
A dock, trade port, or naval base.
Glimmerport docks
Glimmerport is a port city within the Carved Corridor, filled with both lively tradesmen and serious soldiers. It is the last port before the river touches shore with the Southern-Star Sea.
Day 23: Drone
An insectoid species known for its "drone" behaviour.
Day 24: Water
A famous body of water - ocean, sea or river.
Falchelmn Sea
The
Falchelmn Sea is an inland sea on the Somer Plate, with an expanse of ice upon its centre at all times of the year, even when it is blistering hot.
Day 25: Machine
A machine or mechanism important to daily life.
Cadlum Box
Cadlum boxes travel from tower to tower within
Neolai.
Day 26: Pod
A plant species which grows seeds in a pod.
Leaf Pixie Grove
Leaf pixies are small beings, debated to be either plant or beast, or perhaps both.
Day 27: Altar
An altar for a religion.
Brimstone Hedges
The
Brimstone Hedges are sacred sites for all followers of the Coal Pantheon, but in particular they is important to the followers of Zifra Bissan, god of fire and life.
Day 28: Escape
A dangerous location difficult to escape.
The Tenholds
The
Tenholds are prison camps specially made just for holding anyone with magical abilities.
Day 29: Drop
A large cliffside or dangerous drop.
Katja's Edge
Katja's Edge is a sacred place for the followers of Katja, a fallen deity from ancient times.
Day 30: Bay
A bay known a place of hospitality and entertainment.
Pirate's Bay
Pirate's Bay is a bay once ruled by pirates, hence the name. While there are still descendants of the pirates living in the area, there are not any pirates in charge any more.
